Cx. Eucommiae Du Zhong 8-16g Tonifies the Kidneys and Liver, tonifies Kidney Yang, strengthens the sinews and bones and aids the smooth flow of Qi and Blood.
With Gou Qi Zi, for low back pain.
With Xu Duan, tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, strengthens the lower back to treat aching in the lower back and knees and weakness of the legs which makes walking difficult.
With Xu Duan and Tu Si Zi, for lower back pain due to deficient Kidneys.
Rx. Achyranthis Bidentatae Niu Xi 6-16g Invigorates the Blood, expels Blood Stasis, nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin, strengthens the sinews and bones and benefits the joints.
With Du Zhong, for low back and extremity pain and weakness due to Bi pain or Kidney Deficiency.
Fr. Lycii Gou Qi Zi 5-18g Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney Blood and Yin and benefits Jing.
With Shu Di Huang, for Liver and Kidney Deficiency.
With Shu Di Huang Tu Si Zi and Du Zhong, for dizziness, weakness, impotence and spermatorrhea due to Kidney and Liver Yin and Blood Deficiency.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 3-9g Tonifies the Kidneys, astringes Jing and tonifies Qi.
Rz. Dioscoreae Shan Yao 9-30g Tonifies Kidney Yin and astringes Jing.
Sm. Cuscutae Tu Si Zi 6-18g Strengthens Yang, nourishes Yin, astringes Jing and urine, tonifies the Kidneys and Liver and benefits the marrow.
With Du Zhong, enriches and tonifies the Kidneys and Liver, astringes Jing, nourishes Kidney Yin and encourages the movement of Primal Yang to treat lower back pain from Kidney Deficiency.
Colla Cornu Cervi Lu Jiao Jiao 3-5g Tonifies the Kidneys, strengthens Yang, tonifies the DU Channel, strengthens Jing and Blood, strengthens the sinews and bones and benefits the marrow.
Rx. Dipsaci Xu Duan 6-21g Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, strengthens the sinews and bones, promotes the movement of Blood and alleviates pain.
With Du Zhong and Niu Xi, for deficient Kidneys or Cold-Damp Bi causing low back and leg pain and weakness and contracture of the leg muscles.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 9-30g Nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin, nourishes Jing and Blood and fills the Marrow.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 3-12g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao and drains Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3-6g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
